What does the MGA licence still contribute?

It remains a regulatory permission under the Maltese framework for the activities within its scope. Its value should be assessed against the business model, governance and markets actually intended, without adding an unsupported passport claim.

Where an EU-law dispute or contested national restriction is relevant, obtain case-specific advice. A general article cannot decide litigation risk or disapply a national requirement for a particular operator. Keep that uncertainty visible in the project decision record.
